For 40 years I have worked in finance, dealing with many hundreds of small businesses. These range in size from new start to £5m pa.
As I near retirement I am concentrating on what I enjoy most which is actually getting closely involved with businesses and trying to make a real difference to their future. I no longer market myself as a broker and the days of endless phone calls, emails and so on are behind me.
I offer general but valuable advice on all aspects affecting a business; with a wide network of contacts gained over 40 or so years working most areas are covered. In recent years I have operated as Treasurer within a Charity so also find myself quite well versed in processes and compliance within the Charity sector.
